On a day like today, when xanga is going to be shut down for a while. You know that what you write will be read by fewer people than normal so.

Do write an entry anyway, because you really do not care if many read it or not?

Do you hurry up and post something fast, so there will be more time for it to be read?

Or do you just not waste the time that a good entry would take to write, and save it for another day?

Or like me do you write something stupid like this entry?

If I wasn't heading out to do inspections I'd join James3_1 on FB and do Farmtown ROFL. But I have to do REAL work.

It's the meta-post! But, seriously, why would it matter if Xanga goes down or not? You're either inspired to say something or not. Don't write for us. Write for you.

I used to write anyway, not caring, but when the routine became one of the site being down for hours at a time instead of the expected half hour, when things would stay broken for days, when every scheduled maintenance killed traffic to the site for the next few weeks... I stopped bothering. Routine maintenance scheduled for prime use times in the USA tell me that users/customers in the USA are not important to Xanga. They don't give a crap so why should I?

If you have something to write, why wait? If nothing else, at least get it written. It can always be posted at a later time if necessary.

I used to be here to write for me no matter what. Now I am here primarily to read stuff..so I just read what I can and when it works it works when it doesn't it doesn't.
