1. health care reform. thanks to Obama, i was able to get back on my mother's insurance for an extra year.  that singlehandedly saved my family about $2000.  

2. Obama is pro-choice.

3. Obama has come out in favor of same-sex marriage.

i admit, i vote on social issues more than anything else.  i don't think either party has a sound plan to fix the deficit, and i don't think anything will be done until things get as bad as they are in Greece or Spain.  and i also don't agree with the conservative position of cutting entitlements without increasing revenue, or that the wealthy should be taxed at a lower rate than the working poor.  

the general radical tone of conservatives is also a turn off.  no way in Hell will i vote for someone who declares that people like me are secret socialist terrorists out to destroy America.

@flapper_femme_fatale - My youngest daughter had to have her leg amputated due to a horseback accident when she was 21.She had no insurance.She went round and round trying to get disability and then last may she got married at 26 years old and still was trying to get the disability resolved.She is pregneant now due the end of June and she was able to get Ins with Blue Cross that was paying for the shots she has to have 1 a day everyday $100 a shot because of a bleeding problem she has and they also were paying for everything else,then all of a sudden Medicare says she is covered and Blue Cross had to drop her.Now she has to take money out of saving to pay because Medicare won't pay NEAR what her Ins was paying....Gov healthcare at it's best.The few Gov may help doesn't even COMPARE to the number of people it hurts and you think thats GOOD! You and others like you need to wake your butt up and look at the BIG picture!!!!!
