I believe both parties are debased. From Reagan onward. That's where the debt and deficits began. And besides Clinton no one has been able to make any ground in turning around the American economy.

That's pretty much the only issue I contend with. The rest of the issues are distractions to me.

I am not too thrilled with our Rep. candidate. I think they are all taking us in the same wrong direction, the rep.s just clothe the same message differently. 

The problems with our economy are complex, but I think Romney would handle them better.

@PunkRockCowboy - I think better is the word, and getting rid of the legislative deadlock would help. Single party rule often works out badly, as can be seen by Obama having more power than any other president in my short life and totally misusing it. But right now we need it to undo what Obama has done
@Kris0logy - @SolidStateTheory - @RulerofMasons - @mtngirlsouth - I think this pretty much says where I am coming from I do not see Romney as being so great. But I see a strong need to undo what Obama has done and to more competently lead our nation out of a recession. 

though I have my reservations about him all my cpa friends & I oddly have lots...say he knows how to handle money, it's what we need right now.

Besides, how can you expect anyone to fix a problem that was 8 years in the making?

One thing I can agree with Clinton on.

They're all puppets. That's the problem with a two party system. It will never change until we change our voting system. 

@roxics - if you look at three presidents on one issue you have Clinton a believer in nation building an interventionist. Then you have Bush a man who criticized interventionists and nation building almost a isolationist. Then Obama a man who made himself sound like a pacifist. All three in the end had the exact same foreign policy
