His fans don't really care what he does, as long as he promotes what they actually believe will create their fantasy paradise. Even when his own actions (helping workers who simultaneously WON"T be financing this Eden, but will no doubt want to benefit from it) destroy it. 

It's a political move for sure, but I don't have a problem with giving work and or study visas or green cards or whatever to people who were brought here before they turned 16 and or who finish college or join the military.

I agree with the statement on fact, but  I also see it as a mute point considering, many republicans also promised to 'unite' our nation and played the civil rights card (ethinic, gender and cultural/social class). (Abraham Lincoln) and  did not  succeed.

@firetyger - Really did it get this way because those on the left would never vote for none true believers? Politics is all about getting as much as you can, not taking your ball and going home. Ron Paul himself is not supporting what you're doing.

@PPhilip - government jobs are over abundant too large a percentage of the US workforce works for the cites states and federal government its been that way a very long time. I would praise Obama if he had actually cute them back. And while its true that many businesses have worked themselves into a privileged position, by way of extensive lobbying. That "1%" is not the problem, its a government with power to be granted privileges to given businesses.

@Amandascowen - Obama is trying to divide america among racial, economic, cultural and gender lines?  Race lines?  The conservative CPAC convention (where all the republican candidates kick off their campaigns) had a white supremecist who believes republicans should only go after the white vote as a guest and the topic of discussion was "The Failure of Multiculturalism: How the pursuit of diversity is weakening the American Identity."  Economic lines?  The republican party opposes ever raising the minimum wage to keep up with inflation and has tax cuts for the rich as an apparent number one priority.  Cultural lines?  Is is democrats that are protesting outside the building of every new mosque or insisting we are a christian nation or trying to get religion taught in science class or accusing the president of being a kenyan, secret muslim, communist with a foreign sounding name every five seconds?
