@trunthepaige - I gladly read your poetry, and I could almost feel my pocket in my old blue jeans years ago trying to take care of three little guys, and yes, just fumbling through the crumbs to pay for what they wanted, and then the years passed.  Blessings and thanks, Barbara Heintz

@PinkHoneysuckle - A rare thoughtful comment I like those. Almost no one reads my poetry,  I love it when someone does

Hi Paige, I was impressed with your poem, and I enjoy your art.  My entire childhood was spent in third world America on a farm until The Appalachian diaspora almost took our last acre.  What happens is Washington is not new, and I have lived long enough to know that. I do not fall for, "Hate spewing," and a lot of false information has passed that way.  Our beautiful country made it under George Bush who left a bigger mess than any president could clean up.  The House of Lobbyist control much of what happens to all of us everyday, and a President will admit that a new, in-coming president will always be surprised at how little they actually can accomplish.  In my 64 years, I have gone from a starved country child where we accepted no hand outs, and I would like to see Welfare further overhauled to money for work, and I do not care if that means toilet scrubbing.  I have never admired Lyndon Johnson's answer to poverty, and I had folks who wou

Some of the best moments in life:-
Lying in bed listening to the rain outside…
Thinking about the person you love…
    A long drive on a calm road…
Finding money in your old jeans just when you need it…
    Giggling over silly jokes…
    Holding hands with a friend…
Getting a hug from someone who loves u…
The moment your eyes fill with tears after a big laugh…
Wishing you these moments in your life always..!

You belong to the few who really has the acute mind to perceive the fatal agenda of Mr. Obama. Long before he was elected I predicted about his religious hatred of Christianity and his radicals decisions (HCR). He went to China to ask for one trillion USA’s dollars to make his radical political policies work. The side effects of this loan will be disastrous for the whole country. Our economy will collapse, and in less than ten years, our great country will be part of the “Third World.” I assure you; my predictions will come to pass. Gene546

You’re the firs White person that I know of that are aware of the Obama’s agenda. Mr. President it’s not working for the welfare of our nation as a whole but, on the contrary, his agenda is that everything, laws, social programs etc…are created to destroy the Middle Class, especially against Whites. A country into which there is no Middle Class, three things happen: a) the gap between very rich and the working class, wideness; b) the Middle Class is the main column to support the country’s economy, and lastly c) they are the intellectuals that keep the freedom of our country as was meant by our Constitution. The worst of his agenda and I will predict now, will be to put enmity, very subtle, races against races. Put pressure in your representative at Congress, Senators to listen to your voice; it’s what I’m doing. Finally, we need to united as one nation to face what it loomed ahead: total disaster; gene546.

Hi, Paige, I been reading your posts regarding encounters with agnostics and atheists; but let me tell how easy is to rebut them; as J. K. Chesterton put it, “If there is no God there shall not be atheists.” Since, as I had tell you, I am well acquainted with this kind of people I know how they shall be treated. I never had, nor should I never will offended them. For their reasoning it is not logic. Keep in mind the three rules of thought lay down by Aristotle, 1.) A thing is known by its essence, 2.) A thing cannot be another thing at the same moment and at the same place, and finally 3.) The middle term is excluded. If you are familiar with this reasoning, it would be easy to rebut them, and ignoring their offenses. For the first rule in any debate it is to respect each other. When I debate this people I use the words of one their atheistic idols: Voltaire, “If you want to debate with me, bring your arguments for your opinion is useless.” And since, evolution, modern cosmology, and c

The fact that escape the mind of this girl is that life is not a sole busyness of one person but, involves two to PROCREATE a new life. To hold my premise it is worth to mention one fact: when a couple get married, and divorced after a while of being together, and when it comes to the goods they have together; both parties ask for half of those goods to be equally given to each of them. Than one question that arises as to why abortion is a sole decision of the mother and the father is totally ignored by the other party? Aren’t they one flesh; as the bible clearly stated? Mostly of today’s woman are taught about their rights but, when rights are first on their minds, responsibilities are totally ignored. Disgracefully, the rights of woman had darkened their responsibilities. When responsibilities come first life, has a very anew perspective, for life has the dignity given by his Creator; for we were made in the IMAGE and LIKENESS of God. Gene546.

Hi, Paige, thanks for accepting my invitation.  Do I introduce myself to you? In any case, let talk a little bit about me. I was going to become a Roman Catholic priest but, Y knew my wife and it was not so. However, evolution, communism, psychoanalysis, relativism, divorce, birth control, gay marriages, abortion, all of these maladies of the soul I’m opposed to them. Do I am judging people? No. To judge people, that belongs to God alone. I’m happily married for 33 years, we procreate six children, five boys and a girl, we have twins, two boys, and finally; I have three B.A.’s one in Natural Philosophy, Theology, and Code of Canon Law of the Catholic Church.
