  • What a busy day

Morning appointment in Bellingham at 7:00 am that is a 3 hour drive

Meeting in Bellevue 11:00 am. The stupid job was on strike. The tile contractor is hiring lots of little (one man) none union contractors. That is sort of a scam in this State, they are really just employees being paid by the foot. What a shock you try and break a union and they put up picket lines. Seems I was the only one not shocked. If you declared war on the union, you have no reason to act like you were wronged, when they shoot back at you. I’m not going to be delivering much tile to that job I think.

I’m at home now, but I am still working.

  • That sounds like a long and disappointing day.

  • @TheTheologiansCafe - Bellingham was real close to a waste of time as well. Nothing that could not have been better done by FedEx.

  • sounds like an irksome day.

  • I swear, I spent like 2 minutes trying to figure out what department you were talking about as being high before I saw the title of the video.

Also, damn those unions! Always fighting for… rights, and stuff…

  • @NikBv - Don’t ya just love my screw ups?

  • Stark wasn’t completely wrong, I can see how one could say it justifies wealth (but not in a good way). Every dollar borrowed and spent in favor of the tax payers is a dollar they don’t have to pay*. So essentially the tax payers are getting something for nothing*. If you had a million in debt because you bought a million worth of assets, you would appear wealthier too. Hell Michael Jackson was super wealthy too, mansions and amusement parks, but also hundreds of millions in debt.

No one would have ever supported the Bush tax cuts if it required an offset in revenues. Same with the Iraq War. Same with the Recovery Act. Instead every old person in America got all of those with no price to pay. Me and you, well….

*Each generation always gets the bill from the last generation so the current generation has little to care.

  • Since he took office of the USA, Mr. Obama, has not the slightest idea of what economics meant to keep our country out of the trap of covering one hole (national debt); with borrow money by barrowing more money; which at the end that big hole (in our economic system), would be so deep and so wide as to become the heaviest task for the next 20 generations of hard working labor of our American citizens, to try to keep our country from become a “third world country.” What are we to do to remedy this dilemma?
