Man Whores
I have been running into a lot of young men with very bad opinions of woman. They will flat out tell you there are no good girls out there. I want to explain to these guys what the problem is as they are certainly too too stupid to see it for themselves.

most men don’t think in terms beyond that, not that they are stupid so much as mentally and emotionally lazy about it. It’s easier to make oneself feel good physiologically when things are simple but when you start attaching values to things it gets a bit dicier. Most guys like simple. Unfortunate but, true.

Oh, and there are certainly good women left. I found one. And guess what? She’s pretty, virtuous AND slutty (you realize they aren’t mutually exclusive, right?).

Well … how many “good” people are out there? How many men are just looking out for themselves? Maybe my wife would say I am one, but I hope not. I guess we all have to look at humanity and try to find people of character and virtue. Unfortunately those characteristics seem to be in short supply these days amongst both men and women from what I see on the news.

Well I see this as very true. Coming from experience I have noticed guys really want sex. Especially if you are hot, sweet and funny. So then girls get heart broken and lose trust in all guys. Then they are all just either broken whores or weirdos. There are very few women that men approve of. But then women trust men and find a great guy. I think it will just take time.
I’d say 60% of man whores are, at root, homosexuals. The remaining 40% have a psychological problem that prevents them from connecting to other human beings–like a retarded person would.
You know, I went through a really slutty phase in my first year of college.
Once in a while (Im in one of these times right now) I decide “I won’t sleep with a guy unless we’ve been exclusive for at least 2 months!”
And guess what?
No guy has ever wanted to stick around if it meant waiting. Basically if I haven’t slept with them by the second week of just hanging out they stop responding to my calls and giving me all sort of excuses.
It’s pretty ridiculous.

Most everyone loves sex, but no one wants to be used. The problem with manwhores is they don’t realize you can’t treat someone else like an object and not, eventually, make yourself into an object to be used. I’d suggest a girl, who is used by a manwhore, find him when he’s hanging out with his friends. Hand him $5, and say, “For services, poorly, rendered.” Turn and walk off.
LOL! In any case a “good” person is hard to find! And if those who are complaining aren’t “good” either then they should be working on themselves first before they find a partner!

@MangoWOW - i don’t think you should be putting a time line on getting intimate with someone. it seems that you will know before the two months is up whether you love this person or not. perhaps the next time you should make the break if that is apparent. intimacy in love is the joining of souls, not just an anatomical joining…of course, i know you knew that:)
As someone who was at least cute and definitely virtuous (lol, that sounds so funny…calling myself virtuous…), I can testify to this. The attempt to compromise definitely cropped up. Once that didn’t work, they were gone. I’M SO GLAD THEY GOT THEMSELVES GONE. *shudders*

@tommytones - As long as you don’t sacrifice the relationship to the timeline, I think it’s perfectly appropriate to have a rule of thumb to go by when considering when to have sex. The passage of time increases trust, and the increase in trust strengthens love. I’m in the camp of sex-works-best-in-marriage, but the principle still holds, whether you wait for marriage or for confidence in the relationship.
@tommytones - Well, the whole spiritual thing aside, the two months thing isnt something set in stone, just a guideline. I was with a guy for over 2 years that never even let me meet his friends or take me out in public.
I want a guy to show me he’s proud of me, someone that is happy to let me meet his friends. And someone that is willing to spend time with me without having sex.
I think being exclusive for two months is a fair amount of time. If it happens before then it happens. If I somehow miraculously wait longer then so be it. But I just want him to show me he actually cares for my feelings and is happy with me before I give myself to him.

You’re making a terrible assumption. That all virtuous pretty girls think like stumps, and thus can end up in that situation without it being forced rape.
In all seriousness though, I know a lot of men and only a small handful of them have this attitude towards women, some of my male friends havent had sex in quite a while because sex means something more to them than just sticking it in, and no they’re not even religious people, they just don’t fit into the narrow male-asshole graph.
