  • Help!

I’m ultra busy right now. And when I am not as busy, I have found the empty screen looks rather intimidating.Words do not flow so easily today.

The thoughts are there, I still want to tell  my tales and give my opinions.

Its all there, wanting to come out, but it seems a wall separates my ideas from this blank screen

I’m asking for help.  What should I talk about on tomorrows blog entry?

Real stuff and it need not be politics.

    Blank page

    Lonely, staring up at me
Daring me to try to be
    Simple yet profound

    Words alone
    For all that consciousness allows
Find I’m at a loss for how
To say just what I’ve found

I entered through an open door
Left by all who came before
With thoughts so rich yet words so poor
    For truth’s already spoken for

    Reach within
To find a misplaced bit of truth
In love or hate or age or youth
In what prized piece of mind

    Close the book
Evasive truth still yet to find
Of rhythm felt by twisted rhyme
    When words get left behind

Well something snaps and then you learn
    Chasing words is no concern
Then one by one they die and turn
To mild regret and hopeless yearn

    Blank page
    Lonely, staring up at me
    Escaping my apology
From a blank page left unsung

  • You could do some research on recent child abduction and homicides and spark a discussion on that. It’s a darker topic, but it’s powerful.

  • A couple suggestions:

    1. Same-sex marriage. With the Supreme Court’s hearing of oral arguments on Prop 8 and DOMA, it is reemserging as a foremost topic of discussion. Should it be legal? What would be its social, political, and moral ramification? (Thoughts in general on the matter.)

    2. I’ve heard you’ve visited Southern California a few times over the year. How does it compare to Washington? Are the people friendly? The weather? The politics? As a long-time Southern Californian, I’m interested in hearing third-party views.

  • If things continue as they are in the USA, what will we look like in 100 years.

Should parents have the legal right to arrange marriages in this country?

When our country starts and unjust war, should the military have the right to refuse fighting?

Trying to be creative–not controversial. Maybe it will jar your thinking on a subject.

  • @Celestial_Teapot - Two good ones. I am a bit ignorant of the Supreme Court case. It I have time I will read up on it and post a blog. And Yes I have lot of opinions about the differences between Washington and California at least its southern parts. The people are very different from each other in some ways

  • @ChainBracelets - I never would have thought about that one. More reading for me

  • Wish I had some ideas. If I did, I would blog more!

  • @HUMOR_ME_NOW - The first one I do not know if its in me. The second one is interesting in a freedom of religion sort of way. Refusing an unjust war? I will be doing that one I like it its an important question. I doubt it will be tomorrow

@kuai_le1011 - Bil will be remember forever if he can help create that. And the Jesus stomping one I almost did that one today.

  • @mtngirlsouth - You can use my Blank Page Poem

  • Underlying theological basics you apply – what is the hermeneutical lens you use to approach the Christian Faith?

  • @acomfortingcolloquy - I love the big questions like that. It will happen. but that is not a fast one to write. at least not for me

  • @Table54 - You are the second one to ask for that one. I will be doing that one

  • @James2012 - That is so Robert Burnsish. I love Robert Burns

  • @trunthepaige - no rush.  I think my paper on the subject from school was something like 25 pages long.

  • @trunthepaige - Wondrous!  We’ll look for it!

  • @trunthepaige -  I’ve been watching “Nightmare Next Door”, it’s similar to Cold Case Files. One of the episodes focused on a the homicide of a little girl who was raped and suffocated, it was so heart wrenching. It’s so sad that this kind of thing happens all the time. *On a random note, I started the design for your layout this morning and I’m starting the code right meow

  • @trunthepaige - i dont now who that is i just came to me i made it up try to help out

  • @acomfortingcolloquy - I new you would understand. In blog format, it needs to be very concise. Not easy on a complicated topic

  • @James2012 - Your writing styles sounds like Robert Burns. He was a Scottish Poet. It was a complement

  • I see some great ideas in the comments. That should get you going. lol
I always have the problem you describe. That is why most my blogs are photo blogs.

  • What do you do to relax?  Hobbies?  Pets? Exercise?

  • A blank Paige, I’d never guessed. That was magnificent.

The melting artic sea ice has come to my attention. I find it amazing how misinformation guides public opinion towards matters that are insignificant, i.e. gun control and same sex marriage, and distract from extremely important topics such as how
the corporate food industry has ruined our health, how greed has raped the planet of natural resources, and the major problem of overpopulation.

    Smile

  • Can you write a post dedicated to RulerofMasons. Write about me, and how I’ve touched you.

  • write about the thing that makes you most human

  • Do a remake on the post about black men raping white women.

  • @Celestial_Teapot - Well,funny you should mention the same sex marriage thing.I plan on doing a post about it.Not sure when I’ll have time now.

Hey Paige,I need help too.The oldest just came in from Knoxville cuz the kids are on Springbreak and they are staying with us.It’s a zoo and it’s 11:30 pm here.Earlier (while I was out of town working) the girls went up in that daughters old room and found old perfume she left and they sprayed it everywhere. They can’t sleep in that room now cuz a the smell. They are all over the couches and floor. It’s nuts.Who knows when they’ll go to bed.Glad I have a buttload of work to do so I can stay in my office away from the madness!

  • u should talk about HOW UGLY YOU ARE YOU STUPID WHITE WHORE i hope you get cancer and DIE slutty BITCH

  • SHUT UP!! nice poem.

  • If memory serves, the last person who asked me for help regretted it for the rest of their short life.

  • I am sure you will find a good topic to write about. I have these blank days too.

  • @TheTheologiansCafe - That one was funny.  But without the  Duke Lacrosse team rape case being is the news and drawing all the ignorant white men like to rape black girls comments. It might not go over well. But I will never forget those tying to sound so “anti racist” by saying that black girls do not complain about being raped as much as white girls do.     Unless they are being raped by black guys then they go to the police strait away

  • @TheGiantSlayer - Opposable thumbs?   Another hard one it would be great if I come up with the words. I will try

  • @trunthepaige - To a point I guess. But last night the 7 year old decides she want to sleep between me and the Grammy last night instead of on the floor with the with tons or covers and in front of the TV.I had a kick massage all night long.

  • @LannyBudd - Demagogues have so easily distracted the mass since the first words on politics were ever written. That is the reason that ours was never a nation that was supposed to be a democracy. Sadly it is far closer to a democracy now than is healthy

  • Heed the words of Abraham Lincoln:

“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”

    Just skip a day.

  • @somewittyhandle - You have been such a fan so long

  • If you think Francis`s story is impressive…, 3 weeks ago my cousins boyfriend basically brought home $7347 working a twelve hour week an their house and the’re co-worker’s ex-wife`s neighbour has done this for nine months and made over $7347 in there spare time from their labtop. follow the advice from this website, http://www.Cloud65.com

  • I don’t blog habitually, I only do so when I have something worth saying.  I often just copy/paste comments I leave on peoples’ blogs that are worth passing on.  Go read something that is thought provoking.  Like one of my comments on your recent blogs : P

  • @agnophilo - I actually plan on doing that. But I have done far to much along that line lately and thought I would give the subject a rest

  • Tell us how it is being a mother. We haven’t heard about that yet. How has it changed your life?

  • @trunthepaige -
I read a quote on The Federalists Papers’ fb page that said something like, “When an individual or private industry gains control over government it is fascism.” I think we are now closer to that than democracy. The question is how did we get to this state? I believe it was coal powered industrial revolution and forced schooling. The life of luxury was too tempting and we relinquished our freedoms and independence slowly and unwittingly.
