    Supernatural Synchronicity

There was a seemingly supernatural synchronicity between the two of us once. But that has ended in a way that makes me wonder if I am the only one who even remembers it? It was all strange, miraculous really. The sort of thing that leaves you knowing that it will always be life changing. It certainly could never be forgotten, hell it saved her life, how do you forget that?

When atheists tell me (and I heard it a lot from them), if God would only show me, tell me, prove to me that he exists, then I will believe in him. This was the sort of thing they were talking about. No one was left not knowing that it could only have been God. If not God then a person who has never had any signs of supernatural abilities before. She had them for a few weeks. I do not see that thought as being something that would not also shatter the beliefs of a secular materialist. But now I know why miraculous things are so rarely done. They can be put out of your minds, forgotten and dismissed as unimportant. Maybe they are not rare things at all, just forgotten and not spoken of.

Did it ever happen? It is almost like I was the only one there now. Will I also forget in the next few years? Is this the way of most little miracles. From unexplainable foreknowledge, past knowledge, and visions of present happenings a 1000 miles a way. From an unnatural synchronicity of minds. All that ends with a very natural messed up internet sync between two accounts.

Maybe it was just a good dream and soon to be forgotten.

  • wow I can almost fathom that, but you aren’t telling WHAT IT WAS! we want to know….

  • @mortimerZilch - I have told a few. Maybe someday

  • I would SERIOUSLY LOVE to read the entire back story to this!!!

But back to your point, this is not the first time I’ve heard of such a thing. People miraculously healed fromdeseases, baffling doctors. Only to get out of church or worship of any kind, no longer thankful or appreciative.

But it has had an affect on others. I can’t remember who, but I once I read a quote that said words to the affect of nowhere are far too many miraculous events to dismiss them all.

  • *there are. iPad corrections. Uhhhhh!

  • After the disciples saw Jesus do the miracle of feeding all the people, the next occasion that occurred, they forgot about the time before and Jesus asked how they had so soon forgotten.

  • Heh. I’ve got 224 credits, so this is the best I can do. Here ya go…

  • I read it and mull over it, then read it again and did the same. I think the fact that life simply keeps going and that new things are experienced every day is why people forget even miraculous things or that their memories and impact can fade sometimes. Our memory databases can be so fickle.

I think I’m about as curious as everyone else about what happened.

  • I do think we too often forget. I’ve experienced small miracles in my own life. Some of which I’ve forgotten all of the surrounding details. Thankfully I wrote them down. Human memories seem all too fickle and easily rid the mind of the good but hold on to the negative.

  • Why do you want eprops, and how can I tell how much I have.

  • You know what I am wishing God would do?Let me die for a few seconds during this surgery I’ll have next Friday and see just a glimps of Heaven. If He did, would I remember it just how I saw it?Maybe thats too much to ask.Maybe if I saw it,I wouldn’t want Him to send me back!

  • @Rescued_by_grace - That might be why we can only see so much and why so little is said of heven

  • @RulerofMasons - every commenter leaves 2 when they comment automatically. But only once. Its just a way to make top blogs but not the only way.

  • @kuai_le1011 - If ever feel like I could write about it and do it justice I will. BUt it is such a long story with some many little parts. Then one thing that is so obviously supernatural that is brings it all together. None of it was unplanned

  • Unlikely it is, to be forgotten….. Perhaps misplaced in memory, but never forgotten as it seems to have left quite an impression…. Peace

  • @Pcygniime - I think you are right

  • Reading about *apophenia, pareidolia, & synchronicity* a few weeks ago. I did not know Jung coined the term synchronicity.
